It's snowing right now—again. I love the snow. What I don't love? Our apartment when the outside temperature gets below 10 degrees (it struggles to warm up above 60 inside when it's that cold outside). With the mid-week snowstorm, I worked from home and had plenty of chances to freeze to death in my own computer chair this week. OK, maybe I'm being a little overdramatic, but only a little.
Oh the weather outside is frightful, and so are the layers in this Photoshop file.
Just went outside for 5 minutes to take out the trash. Fingers are turning black and falling off.
I snapped some pics of snowflakes on our back door using the macro lens attachment for my iPhone. Pretty cool.
This week was fueled by hot chocolate, soup, and cheddar chive biscuits.
After having my eye on these USB toast (toasty hands, get it?) handwarmers for a few months, I finally broke down and bought them after my second day of working from home. I'd been wearing two pairs of fingerless gloves all day and they were still ice blocks. I've only had them for one day so far, but I don't know how I ever survived without these before.
Here's hoping we survive this round of the polar vortex and any more that might grace us in the coming months. Oh, what I would give to be sweating in August right now.
