Visual Vocabulary: Maunder

Maunder: wander aimlessly. As in, "I always enter Target armed with a specific list that I intend to follow, but inevitably I maunder about and stock up on things I've forgotten to add to my list and when I go to check out and the total is five hundred million bajillion dollars. Damnit, Target! You've won again!"

Here's how my Target visits always go: "Just going in for some dish soap, then I'll be right out. Oh crap, grandma's birthday is coming up and I should really get her a card. Now that I think of it, we could really stock up on our Clif bar supply too. And Target always has such good prices on hummus, I should probably grab some... Oooo! Multicolored Sharpies!"

That's why I always send Scott to Target if I can. He doesn't get distracted by the multicolored Sharpies.

Visual Vocabulary is a project I created for myself in which I attempt to sear new words into my memory by illustrating them.
